Wine days in Binissalem is an annual festival dedicated to vine, gastronomy and culture, which takes place in the heart of Mallorca, in a winemaking region of Binissalem. Every May it brings together wine lovers, foodies and art enthusiasts.
During several days a rich program awaits festival guests: wine tastings from the best local wineries, food evenings featuring famous chefs, bike and walking tours of vineyards, art exhibitions and concerts.
The special event will be the “Wine, gastronomy and music” evening in Palma on the 23rd of May. The historic Cloister of St. Francis will bring together local wines, fine cuisine and live music.
As part of the festival, a wine tasting will also take place on May 24 at the Son Fred talaiot. This unique event takes place in the open air at an ancient megalithic structure built thousands of years ago, among vineyards and Mediterranean nature. In this special atmosphere, as the sun sets, guests will be able to taste regional wines, learn about local grape varieties and the philosophy of winemakers. This is not just a tasting – it is a journey through time and taste.
The festival doesn’t only cover the town of Binissalem, but other beautiful parts of the region — Santa Maria, Santa Eugenia, Sencelles and Conseil. It is an amazing opportunity to discover the authentic Mallorca, its culture and people behind every single cup of local wine.
