Giacomo Puccini’s opera ‘Tosca’ is a dramatic work in three acts that tells the story of the tragic love between the singer Floria Tosca and the painter Mario Cavaradossi against the backdrop of the political intrigues of early 19th-century Rome.
Considered one of the most important operas in the Italian repertoire, Tosca possesses an incredible dramatic force and includes some of the most beautiful arias in the history of opera, such as ‘Vissi d’arte’ (for Tosca) and ‘E lucevan le stelle’ (for Mario).
The conductor is Lola Plaza, well-known for her interpretations of classical operatic works.
The production is aimed at an audience aged 12 and over. The performance lasts 2 hours.
