Night of Art in Manacor

The Night of Art in Manacor is a large-scale urban art festival taking place on June 20, 2026. For one evening, the center of Manacor will be transformed into a large open-air gallery. From 18:00 until almost midnight, the streets, squares, shops, historic buildings and cultural spaces of the city will be filled with exhibitions, music, performances and creative events. The festival’s main idea is to bring art out of traditional galleries and into the urban environment, making it accessible to everyone.
This year the event will feature more than forty to fifty local artists featuring a wide range of mediums: painting, photography, sculpture, graphics, digital art and contemporary installations. The works will be displayed in over forty exhibition spaces throughout the city center, including storefronts, courtyards, cultural centers and public spaces. A special route map will be prepared for visitors, allowing them to navigate the entire art trail from one location to the next.
The festival will begin with the opening of the “View on the Balcony” exhibition at Plaza del Convento. Throughout the evening, guests will enjoy artistic performances, collective creative projects, interactive installations, fashion shows and meetings with the artists. The unique feature of these events is that they offer an opportunity to not only view works of art but also participate in their creation. For example, the planned events include open-air embroidery, a workshop on creating sculptures from plastic waste found on the beach and various events in which viewers become part of the artistic process.
A special program is available for families with children. Young visitors can participate in creative workshops, theatrical games and art classes. These include the interactive performance “Home,” dedicated to the theme of home and urban environment, and the family concert “Fairy Song,” featuring children’s songs, movie soundtracks and original compositions.
