Port Adriano in Mallorca will host its annual music festival, featuring famous artists of various genres from pop and rock to classics and jazz.
The festival is known for its unique atmosphere with open air concerts by the seaside, yachts and beautiful mediterranean sunsets.
This year, as part of the music festival, Port Adriano will feature a performance by Armenian violin virtuoso Ara Malikian. The musician was born in 1968 in Yerevan, Armenia. He began playing the violin at an early age and was accepted into the Bucharest Conservatory at the age of 12.
In his shows the violinist combines various musical styles, including classical music, jazz, folk and traditional Armenian music. He is renowned for his vibrant and expressive performances.
”Invasion” is Ara Malikian’s new show that combines elements of music, dance and theatre. In this piece Malikian continues to explore and stretch the boundaries of musical genres. Ara Malikian will play other instruments other than the violin, adding variety and experimentalism into his performance. The violinist actively collaborates with artists of different genres, creating a synergy between music and movement, expressing the theme of “invasion” when music and art invade cultural and personal spaces.
