His works, including the design of the Gran Hotel Palma, became a symbol of the architecture of the late 19th and early 20th centuries in Spain. He is also known for creating other outstanding buildings, such as the Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona.
Gran Hotel Palma was opened in 1903. It had operated until the 90s and was then closed for restoration and reconstruction. The hotel has always been a symbol of luxury, attracting many famous guests. A cultural centre Caixa Forum Palma, operated by “La Caixa” was opened in 2017, already in a new renovated building.
The visitors can take a walk around its exhibition halls, visit the Anglada-Camarasa salon, where the museum’s permanent exhibition is located, to feel the atmosphere of this space.
