Concert in Torrent de Pareis

The concert in Torrent de Pareis is an annual musical event dedicated to choir singing that takes place in a unique natural amphitheatre at the mouth of the Torrent de Pareis gorge, in the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains. This place is known for its outstanding acoustics and picturesque scenery, which makes the concert one of a kind.
The tradition of organizing concerts in Torrent de Pareis started in 1964 thanks to a catalan painter Josep Bardolet. Since then, the event takes place every year, usually in the first week of July. This year, the 61st concert will take place, featuring the Sa Nostra Foundation Choir, the Spiritual Mallorca a l’Octava Choir and the Mallorcan Chapel Choir.
The concert takes place outside and is free of charge. Guests should take into account that the road leading to the bay is steep. It is also possible to arrive by boat from the port of Soller and then walk 25-30 minutes to the bay.
