Flower market in anticipation of the All Saints’ Day. 31.10.24

The flower market in Andratx is opening on the weekend before All Saints’ Day. In addition to various local foods, flowers and flower compositions will be sold there. Traditionally, during this holiday, the locals visit cemeteries and remember those who are no longer around, to then meet for a family dinner.
The market will also host a master class on making sugar rosaries, an old Majorcan tradition when the older generation gives the younger generation rosaries made from sugar or sweets. On these days, services are held in the churches of the municipality and at the cemetery, providing an opportunity to honor the memory of the loved ones.
