Sopa de Cabra is one of the most emblematic rock groups in Catalonia and throughout the Spanish Mediterranean.
The group emerged in the late 80s in Girona, became a key piece of the Catalan rock movement (musical wave in the Catalan language) and the voice of an entire generation of the 90s.
His music is a mix of rock, blues and Mediterranean melancholy, with a lively and honest sound and lyrics about freedom, love, the path, inner search and life «without filters».
The vocalist Gerard Quintana is a charismatic leader with an easily recognizable voice and, thanks to him, the songs of the group usually sound like a confession: a little husky, a little rough, but very sincere.
