Catalan language day

On the 10th of May 2025 the town of Santa Maria will host a Language Day — a festive event in honour of the catalan language and culture.
The festival will begin at 16:30 with traditional folk dances, followed by concerts and musical performances featuring Ramellets, Al-Mayurqa, Es Revetlers and others.
At 19:30 the official part will take place with speeches from the organisers — representatives of the Balearic cultural society under the slogan “Yes to the language. For Mallorca!”. The event is aimed to protect and promote the catalan language as an important part of local identity.
