Night of the Spirits

“Night of the Spirits” is a traditional holiday that will take place on November 8 2025 in Park de la Riera in Palma. The event is dedicated to remembering those who passed away and reviving ancient autumn traditions.
The program includes performances by bagpipers – cheremies, children’s animation, folk dancing, a fire show and a torchlight procession. The park will host workshops on making lanterns, rosaries (made from candies) and dolls, as well as stories from a storyteller and a sale of traditional sweets. Those interested can join the tours of the Palma cemetery.
The celebration is organized by Palma’s town hall in cooperation with local associations. The program is a mix of national music, craftsmanship traditions and folklore.
