Mallorca Chamber Music Festival

The International chamber music festival will take place in Palma from September 3rd to 7th. The “Mozart” hall of the Auditorium will serve as the festival’s main stage. It will feature a series of evening concerts by talented young musicians. The program is dedicated to classical chamber music and includes pieces by Richard Strauss, Antonín Dvořák, Alexander Krein, Enrique Granados, Johannes Brahms, Franz Schubert and Felix Mendelssohn. In addition to the concerts, the festival includes a special commemoration in the historic Ca n’Oleo space, dedicated to the 710th anniversary of the death of the philosopher Ramon Llull, as well as a final concert in the theatre of the city of Alaró. The festival aims to support young artists — violinists, viola players, cellists, pianists and other musicians, creating an opportunity to listen to classical music in a secluded atmosphere close to the audience. This event combines high artistic quality, romantic european selection and the cultural heritage of Mallorca, showcasing a new musical event that aims to become a noticeable part of the island’s social life.
