K12 Trio Jazz Band

Jazz Trio K12 will perform a free concert in Ses Fonts Park in Palma, which is perfect for enjoying live music. This event is a part of the “Jazz for Christmas” cycle, organised by Palma’s city hall, during which on every Sunday of December there are jazz concerts in different parts of the city.
The band will be introducing their new album “Landscapes We Found” and the unique musical experience of creating a festive atmosphere. It invites you to visit forests, islands, jungles, oceans and meadows through musical improvisation and sound dialogue in its performance.
The trio, led by the pianist Gori Matas along with cellist Marco Lohicari and drummer Theo Salva, challenges the accepted norms of jazz. With their ernest and energetic performance the musicians invite you for a journey full of lights and shadows with mysterious and innovative rhythms of the percussives, distinguished lyricism of the cello and endless imaginativity of the piano.
