Hunting and Country life Fair at the Son Pardo Racecourse
Date: 13.09.2025-14.09.2025
Location: Palma. Mallorca
Hunting and country life fair is a cultural and agricultural event held for the second time at the Son Pardo racecourse in Palma. It’s organised in order to preserve and promote the region’s traditional hunting, agriculture and trades.
The fair’s exhibition features various expositions presenting local goods, crafts and agricultural machinery. There are demonstrations of hunting and traditional shooting techniques, dog and falconry shows. A gastronomy show with dishes of game is an important part of the program. The festival also includes a concert and a comedy show.
This year, the fair will mark the 25th anniversary of the official recognition of the Balearic ibex, a wild male mountain goat from Mallorca. The event will feature a special pen of purebred representatives of this ancient caprine species, highlighting its genetic and cultural importance for the Balearic fauna.
This event plays an important role in strengthening the connection between the urban and rural parts of Mallorca, helps to preserve cultural heritage and develop sustainable rural tourism.
