Habanera songs music festival

Location: Port Sóller. Mallorca
An outdoor music festival dedicated to habaneras, traditional songs with Cuban and catalan roots, will take place September 20 and 21 on d’en Repic beach in Soller. The beach will turn into an open air stage with chairs placed right on the sand.
On Saturday the event will begin in the heart of the town, the main town hall square, with a performance by a band Estol de Tramuntana from Soller. In the evening, the beach will be filled with the rhythms and melodies of the Mediterranean and the Caribbean: Mar i Vent (Costa Brava), Aires Formenterencs (Formentera), Haváname (Cuba) and the inimitable Tomeu Peña from Vilafranca, one of the festival’s guests of honour, will take to the stage. The host of the concert will be Mar Puigsever.
On Sunday guests are invited to an evening concert at sunset. The program features Mar i Vent, Figues d’un Altre Paner (Menorca) и Ben Trempats (Mallorca), finishing the musical weekend with a wave of inspiring and warm atmosphere.
