Gastronomic festival “From the earth to the kitchen”

Location: Galatzo. Mallorca
“From the earth to the kitchen” is a gastronomic festival dedicated to the cuisine and products of Serra de Tramuntana. The festival will take place at the Galatzo estate, an ancient manor complex with a natural park located in the mountains.
The event aimed to promote local products, especially those of the traditional farming of the region.
The programme includes a market, a tour around the houses and gardens of Galatzo, films about agriculture and a traditional recipes’ competition.
Special attention will be paid to honoring chefs who support local gastronomy. The lunch will feature rice with meat and vegetables prepared by chef Cati Pons, as well as wine from the Mortitx winery from Pollença.
Registration in advance is required to participate in the tour and lunch.
The tour is free, the lunch is 10 euros.
