Festival “Songs of the Mediterranean”

”Songs of the Mediterranean” is a summer music festival in Palma, dedicated to the cultural heritage of the Mediterranean peoples. The program features concerts by folk, original, traditional and ethnic artists. The shows take place in the city’s open spaces, including the historic Ses Voltes at the foot of the cathedral and Bellver Castle. The festival creates an atmosphere of Mediterranean summer by combining music, poetry and cultural traditions of different regions. The program includes the Música Nostra group, project Debon canta Suau, Hato Gato & amics, a concert by the municipal musical collective of Palma, as well as performances by Maria Mazzotta and L’Arannà. The event is aimed both at island residents and tourists, offering an opportunity to get familiar with the diversity of Mediterranean musical traditions while engulfed in a historic and picturesque atmosphere of evening Palma.
