Fair-holiday in Alcudia. 04.10.24 – 06.10.24
Location: Alcudia
The Alcudia fair is a colourful and memorable event, when the whole town is immersed into the festive atmosphere for three days. There is dancing and music everywhere, giant puppets parades, modern art exhibitions, a market where you can buy horses and pigs, an exhibition of vintage motorcycles, tastings of traditional Majorcan cuisine and much more.
The town of Alcudia emerged back in the Arab days and has preserved lots of artifacts and ancient sites. One of them is a large fortress wall surrounded by a moat. Being there feels like traveling back in time. Nearby are the ruins of the Roman city of Pollenca. During the holidays there’ll be an ancient Roman style market with shows and celebrations.
