Easter Concert “Bach and Mozart”

Venue: Palma. Mallorca
The Easter concert will be held in one of the first parish churches of Palma – Holy Cross Church, built in the 14th century in Gothic style. Inside the church you can see both gothic and baroque altarpieces, including the main altar in baroque style.
The program of the concert – two outstanding works:
The Easter Oratory of John Sebastian Bach is a solemn and joyful work written in 1725, narrating the events of Easter.
The coronation mass of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart is one of his most famous church works, first performed in Salzburg in 1779.
The Academy 1830 orchestra will perform together with the Mallorca Chapel, as well as soloists: Margarita Rodríguez, Marisa Roca, José Manuel Sánchez, Jerónimo Seib y Biel Mas.
