The “Disco Saturday Night” musical is a grand show dedicated to the golden age of disco. Inspired by the legendary “Studio 54” club in New York and the artists who performed there, the creators filled the musical with the hottest hits of those days.
Barry White with his silky voice and romantic pieces like “You’re the First, the Last, My Everything” and “Let the music play” became soul-disco’s classic. Donna Summer – the queen of disco, her songs “I Feel Love”, “Hot Stuff” and “Last Dance” are popular to this day. Gloria Gaynor with her hymn of independence “I Will Survive” is the legend of disco. The Bee Gees and their soundtrack for the “Saturday Night Fever” movie, their hits “Stayin’ Alive” and “Night Fever” also became disco’s symbols.
