Pollença Rock is an annual Catalan music festival held in Mallorca in the town of Pollença. The festival is held in the historic courtyard of the Monastery of St Domingo, known for its architectural beauty and excellent acoustics, allowing the music to be enjoyed in the open air.
Pollença Rock usually features musicians of different genres, from classic rock to modern trends such as pop rock and alternative rock.
This year, the Catalan band Lax’n’Busto, known for hits such as “Llença’t”, “Tornarem” and “Per una copa”, have been invited to the festival. Her style combines elements of rock music with pop and folk rock, and her lyrics reflect Catalan culture and ideas of freedom.
Also performing at the festival will be the rock band Suasi, founded by musician Pep Suasi. It is known for its energetic compositions in the national Catalan style. In 2023, Suasi released the album “Dies infinitament feliços”, marking a new milestone in their work.
Another band, Ánimos Parrec, founded in Mallorca, will perform at the festival.
Tickets are priced at 35 euros.
