Bridget Basile and the New Orleans Choir

Bridget Basil and the ensemble “Gospel of New Orleans Choir” will perform in “Trui Theatre” of Palma as a part of the XVII Jazz festival. The guests will have the opportunity to enjoy the programme that includes both traditional gospel hits and popular pieces such as What a Wonderful World and Just A Closer Walk.
Gospel is a musical genre, a part of the Christian tradition, that emerged in the USA in the XIX century. This genre embodies soulful texts, emotional vocals and memorable, often improvised, delivery.
A local choir Ànima Gospel Mallorca will also participate and create a warm and celebratory atmosphere.
