Cap Rocat Festival

In 2026, the Cap Rocat festival, one of the most significant summer music events in Mallorca, Spain, will take place from Friday, July 31st to Sunday, August 2nd. This marks the 6th anniversary of a classical music program in a picturesque fortress hotel Cap Rocat, overlooking the mediterranean sea.
July 31st (Friday) — the festival will open with a gala-concert featuring a famous tenor Juan Diego Flórez, who will perform arias from Rossini and other musical works together with the Balearic Islands Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Pablo Milgo.
August 1st (Saturday) — a piano concert by the outstanding pianist Rudolf Buchbinder, featuring works by Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert.
August 2nd (Sunday) — the festival will conclude with a concert version of Giacomo Puccini’s opera Tosca, featuring renowned opera singers such as Lise Davidsen, Freddy De Tommaso and Ludovic Tézier. Conductor: Maestro Giacomo Sagripanti.
Apart from musical performances, the festival will also host a daytime educational program “Festival Cap Rocat Inspira” with workshops and discussions aimed at supporting young artists.
The festival combines a high level performance and a unique location in an ancient fortress of Mallorca, which makes it a notable event in the island’s summer 2026 cultural life.
