Acampalengua 2025 Festival

Date: 05.04.25-06.04.25

Location: Felanitx. Mallorca

”Acampalengua” is an annual festival dedicated to the spread of the Catalan language and culture across the Balearic Islands. Acampalengua is a catalan word that can be split into two parts: “acampa” (set up a camp) and “llengua” (language). Literally it means “language camp”.

The festival’s programme includes concerts featuring local and invited artists, theatre and street performances, master classes and seminars on traditional crafts and arts, as well as discussions and debates on topics related to language and culture. There are special zones with games and educational activities designed for children and their families.

During the festival there is an opportunity for the participants to stay in a tent camp. This is one of the key elements of the festival that creates an atmosphere of unity and cohesion among the people. Usually the hosts plan special zones for putting up tents, providing basic needs like bathrooms and drinking water access.

It is recommended to check the rules for camping in advance, as well as to register if advance reservations are required.
