Photo Exhibition “Fashion of the past”. 01.12.24-31.12.24
Location: Maon. Menorca
The exhibition “La Moda d’Antany. How Menorca Dressed from 1850 to 1930” is taking place in Menorca. It is organized by the Archive of images and sounds of Menorca (Arxiu d’Imatge i So de Menorca). The exposition is dedicated to the historical clothes of the islanders. Ancient photographs help to demonstrate the fashion trends of that time.
The exhibition includes both studio photos of local bourgeoisie and pictures of the workers’ everyday lives. In total, there are 32 photographs, taken by renowned professional photographers such as Joan Femenias, as well as amateur works.
