Va de Bach play. 09.11.24

Venue: Palma

“Va de Bach” is a Spanish festival of music and theater, created by the outstanding choreographer Antonio Naajarro, the former creative director of the national Ballet of Spain. This play unites Johann Sebastian Bach’s classical music and modern interpretation of Spanish dance.

“Va de Bach” investigates the connection between the heritage of classical music and live dance. The dancers interpret Bach’s creations paired with Spanish flamenco and other dancing styles, creating a striking interaction of the classic and the modern. The play uses Bach’s music not only as a backdrop but also as a source of inspiration and drive by building it into the complex choreography and energy of Spanish dance.

Family-friendly. For children above age 4.
