Tolo Salleras (1938-2005) – a famous 20th century Spanish photographer from Mallorca. His works reflect elements of the Balearic nature, culture and the spirit of the local people. Salleras collaborated with various fashion brands and magazines, photographed celebrities such as Sean Connery and Grace Kelly. He had a unique aesthetic vision, deep understanding of light and forms.
Saleros also experimented with textures, which allowed him to create works that go beyond traditional photography. His work is minimalist but expressive, he always paid great attention to the details and compositions that convey the atmosphere of his native land and culture.
Exhibition of the works of the photographer opened in the cultural center of Misericordia until 11 January 2025
