“The House and The Forest” Exposition

”The House and The Forest” exposition is dedicated to the loss of connection between humans and nature and an attempt to rethink this relationship through art, memory and landscape.
The project brings together works by Rosa Catherine Bosch, Louise Hopkins, Ken Keefe, Jennifer Latour, Edward Lipsky, Joan Miró, Asunción Molinos Gordo, Joana Vasconcelos, and artist and curator Janice McNab.
The exposition takes place in a historical mansion, where the architecture itself becomes part of the narrative: a doorknob – a hammer shaped into a woman’s hand holding an apple, symbolically uniting the house and nature.
Through paintings, objects and installation the artists explore the emotional landscape of modernity – from nostalgia and hope to anxiety and feelings of environmental fragility.
