Swim crossing the Bay of Palma

Location: Palma. Mallorca
August 10 2025 at 9 am in the morning at Playa de Palma, for the first time in Mallorca, there will be a swimming competition in open waters across the Bay of Palma. Participants will compete a distance of 1 500 meters, starting at a beach restaurant Ginger Beach and finishing at Can Pastill.
The swim is opened for swimmers of any level, there are categories based on age and experience.
The event is organised by the Palma Beach group, with the support of the Palma City Hall, Palma Aquarium, Coca-Cola, Ginger Beach, Bikini Beach, the Balearic Islands Water Sports Federation (FED’A), Elitechip and the Club Náutico Arenal (CNA).
It isn’t just a sport event, but an opportunity for the organisers to support active lifestyle on the island, develop sport tourism and promote environmental protection.

Participants are provided with all safety and comfort measures: lifeboats, floats, electronic timing, branded swimming caps and food after the swim.
