Sheep and goats’ fair (Fira d’Oví i Caprí) is an annual event held in Calvia, Mallorca. It unites animal husbandry, handicrafts, gastronomy and represents the traditional farming culture of the island.
The fair features animal shows, competitions among the best sheep and goat breeds, demonstrations of the work of shepherd dogs and traditional sheep shearing.
The market will exhibit local products like cheeses, sausages, bread and handicrafts. The town’s mayor organises folklore shows, entertainment for kids.
