Saint Sebastián’s Day is celebrated in honour of the divine protector of Palma and is one of the most vibrant and important events in Mallorca. The celebration begins on the 17th of January and will go on for a few days, filling the city with an atmosphere of fun and festivity.The main features of the holiday are bonfires and fireworks, which symbolize cleansing and welcoming the new year. During these days, several venues in the city will host music concerts and performances by local bands.

On the actual day of the celebration, January the 20th, there will be colorful processions with the participation of residents in traditional costumes, which will add to the event a special spectacle. In addition, you can bring meat or a sausage (pork sausage with red pepper in a natural envelope) and fry them on the grills.
