Our intelligent marmalade lover, Paddington, got a British passport and is now a true UK citizen. Very timely – he just needs to fly urgently to Peru, to rescue the elderly bear aunt Lucy. The Brown family goes with him.
The main chamber of drama in the film is Mrs Brown, played by Emily Mortimer. This is important to emphasize, because in the previous episodes this character was played by the beautiful, fragile Sally Hawkins. Among the new faces is Antonio Banderas, a villain with an array of insane imaginary relatives. A new character, a hilarious nun with a guitar played by Olivia Coleman, really carries the plot on her shoulders.
