Orange Festival and Fair in Soller is an annual rural holiday, dedicated to the famous oranges of the picturesque valley of Soller. This region is known for its juicy citrus fruits with amazing taste that is achieved by the soft climate and fertile soil.
During the festival days we recommend coming to Soller on an old wooden train from Palma. It was on this train that, more than a hundred years ago, they began delivering oranges to the island’s capital, and now it’s used for transporting tourists.
As part of the festival restaurants and cafes will offer special orange dishes and desserts. For example, orange tart, duck fillet with orange sauce, jam, juice and orange ice cream.
The main events will take place in Soller and its bay. The central square will host a market with local products, where you can buy fresh citrus fruits, jams, oils and even orange cosmetics. The festival will be accompanied by cultural shows, including street musicians. You can also go on a tour to see orange orchards and learn more about the process of its growth.
