The musical ‘Hakuna Matata’ (based on the animated film ‘The Lion King’) is an exciting theatrical show that transports the audience to the African savannah, where the story of how the young lion Simba grows up, becomes king and restores justice in his kingdom. The title of the musical, Hakuna Matata and the song with the same name is emblematic of the carefree philosophy of life promoted by the characters Timon and Pumbaa, and is one of the most striking and best-loved songs in the musical.
The musical combines magnificent costumes, colourful sets and incredible dance numbers, reproducing the atmosphere of a real African setting. Audiences will be able to enjoy classic and new songs, such as the famous ‘Circle of Life’, ‘Can You Feel the Love Tonight’ and, of course, ‘Hakuna Matata’.
A special feature of the production is the use of impressive visual effects and various theatrical techniques to create a sense of immersion in the animal world. The plot continues to focus on Simba’s growth, his struggle for the throne and the restoration of justice after the tragic death of his father, Mufasa, and the destruction caused by his father’s brother Scar.
