Gran Gala for Business Prizegiving

Venue: Palma. Mallorca
On the 1st of July in Theatre Principal in Palma there will be the first prizegiving ceremony for the business award of Mallorca, a celebration of recognition of local entrepreneurs of the island. This event will be a milestone in the cultural and economic life of Mallorca by recognizing the best of trade in 15 categories: innovation, sustainability, design, promotion of local products, use of the Catalan language and many more.
The Gala Evening promises to not only be ceremonial, but also truly festive. The audience will enjoy the musical performance of David Cabot, and the humor and positivism will be delivered by the comedian Rubén García.
The prize is organized by PIMEM (Federación Mallorquina de la Pequeña y Mediana Empresa) with the support of Radio Mallorca – Cadena SER and the newspaper Ultima Hora. Its aim is to highlight the importance of local businesses and their contribution to the economy, culture and daily life of the island.
Each prize is a unique trophy: a traditional hand-carved wooden basket carved by the local artisan Lolo Garner and roots, work and authenticity.
Admission is free. All those who support local businesses and want to celebrate together the strength, sustainability and creativity of the Mallorcan trade are welcome.
