Festival of Mallorcan Fairytales “Rondalies”

This year in the city of Inca a holiday dedicated to the Mallorcan tales “Rondalies” is celebrated. These stories were always passed down from the older generation to the younger. Their heroes are giants, talking animals, demons, dragons and other magical characters. During the festival, huge figures of these fabulous heroes will walk through the streets of the city, there will be various workshops, music will be played on bagpipes. Participants of the event will see the traditional “Bal de Bot” dance, play games with the characters and listen to their mesmerising stories.
