Esclatassangs fair

The Esclatassangs fair in Mancor de Vall (near Sierra de Tramuntana in Mallorca) is held every year and dedicated to forest mushrooms that are popular in this region. Esclatassangs which in Catalan means “chanterelles” are a symbol of autumn in Mallorca. At the fair you can not only try and buy different types of mushrooms but also purchase local products like olive oil, wine and traditional dishes.
The event is accompanied by various cultural activities: exhibitions, workshops on picking and cooking mushrooms, tastings and entertainment for children.
