The works of Ennio Morricone, the famous Italian composer and conductor who wrote music for more than five hundred films and tv series, will be performed by the Royal Orchestra at the Auditorium concert hall in Palma.
The holder of two “Oscars”: for Outstanding Achievements in Cinematography (2007) and for Best Original Score (2016, “The Hateful Eight”). Morricone is also a nine-time winner of the Italian film award “David di Donatello” for “Best Music”, a three-time winner of “the Golden Globe Award” in the Best Original Score category, and a six-time winner of the BAFTA Award in the Best Original Score category. The list of the great composer’s trophies is endless.
