Drumcode Mallorca is a big international festival dedicated to electronic (techno) music that takes place on the island of Mallorca over three full days.
The festival features performances by famous DJs, the headliner being Amelie Lens, and takes place across several venues: from open stages to night clubs and even boat parties. This isn’t a single place with a fixed address but a series of events all around the island for the participants to visit.
The festival’s atmosphere is a combination of seaside vacation and bustling nightlife with music blasting almost nonstop.
Amelie Lens is a Belgian DJ and music producer, who, in a relatively short time, became one of the most recognisable figures in the electronic music industry. She was born May 31 1990 in a small town of Wilford in Belgium. The artist started her electronic music career relatively late — in 2014, when she got a residency in the Labyrinth club in Hasselt. From that point onwards her work and name quickly gained recognition. Amelie’s first release was made in 2016 and soon she began to actively collaborate with famous labels, including Second State, and in 2018 she founded her own label Lenske, through which she promotes not only her music, but also supports young artists.
Amilie Lens’ style is a powerful techno full of energy, often with elements of industrial and minimalist sounds, creating a hypnotic atmosphere during her performances. Fans all over the world love her for her honest, emotional sets. Amelie performs at the biggest festivals and clubs: Awakenings, Tomorrowland, Sonar, DC-10 (Ibiza), Printworks (London) and many others.
