Catalan culture festival «Serra Mamerra»

Balearic Islands Cultural Association organises a festival for children and adults called “Serra Mamerra” (words from a children’s song).
Events program:
From 16:30 to 20:00:
Children’s playing zone for the little ones (0-3 years old). Organised by Ludoteca de jardí.
Outdoor circus and an eco merry-go-round. Organised by Circ Bover.
From 17:00 to 20:00:
Pins and patches making workshop. Organised by Empenta.
From 17:00 to 18:30:
Master class on making traditional musical instruments. Organised by Pep Mestre.
From 17:00 to 19:00:
Silkscreen printing workshop. Organised by M8 Taller serigràfic.
At 20:30:
Concert of the «Pitxorines» band.
After the concert:
Children’s Correfoc “fire run” (a traditional catalan show with fire and demon figures), Organised by «Dimonis de sa Cova des Fossar de Sineu».
The host of the festival — Obra Cultural Balear (OCB) — aims to not only preserve the language and cultural heritage of Catalonia but also pass it on to the new generations.
