April fair

The April fair is a traditional Andalusian festival that originated in Seville and has become famous all over the world. It has a unique atmosphere: women in traditional dresses, men in jockey costumes, live flamenco and sevillana music, dancing, decorated horses and carriages everywhere. And of course, there is delicious food and wine, too.
The fair takes place in Seville, as the name suggests, in April and symbolises joy, tradition and the Andalusian way of life. Since then, similar events have been held in other parts of Spain in the format of the April Fair to capture the atmosphere of Seville. Alcudia also hosts its own version of the April Fair each year. The event includes live music, Sevillana and flamenco performances, and tastings of traditional food and wine from the south of Spain.
