The almond blossom festival in Son Server is traditionally celebrated at the beginning of february. During that period almond trees cover themselves with white and pink flowers, creating an astounding beauty complimented by the blue sky and green mountains.
The events of the day include a market where you can purchase local goods and try a traditional almond cake gato de almendra, as well as enjoy some music and dancing.
Moreover, during this period it is very popular to hike in almond groves, especially around Son Servera. It is a great opportunity to take beautiful pictures of the blooming almonds.
